Victor Notaro boasts a sterling performance record from start-up of business units to establishment of year-over-year revenue growth at the scale of multimillion dollars in sales. Victor Notaro also excels at identifying and realizing division goals in terms of increasing revenue, reducing costs, and P&L results. His aptitude as a staff development leader has created $150 million in recent account wins. Victor studied at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University and completed the Sales and Strategy Program at Harvard Business School. He is a Certified Treasury Professional and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Aquinas College.
As the Senior Vice President of Corporate Banking/Mid-Corporate Banking for Citizens Financial Group, Victor is directly responsible for directing market penetration and revenue growth through the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern states. In his leadership role with the twelfth largest bank in the United States, Victor Notaro has secured Citizens business with clients that surpass $500 million in sales volume. His input as a trusted advisor to C-suite leadership guides clients in a diverse portfolio of banking services that includes treasury, interest rate hedging, foreign exchange, acquisition finance, and other capital strategies. In 2015, Victor was awarded the Chairman’s Credo Award for top sales achievement.
Prior to his work with Citizens Financial, Victor served as the Senior Vice President of Commercial & Corporate Banking for Fifth Third Bancorp, which holds more than $125 billion in assets. His clientele was based heavily in the energy and manufacturing sectors and typically generated between $50 million and $2 billion in sales. As the first point of contact, Victor was pivotal in building productive partnerships. During his time with the company, he established multiple bank revenue streams that created $5 million to $8 million in profitability and vastly expanded cross-selling efforts and wallet share. In recognition of his contributions, Victor won several awards, including the Bravo Award in 2011 and the Fifth Third Trailblazer Award in 2012. For over eleven years, Victor Notaro worked for PNC Financial Services Group, most recently as the Senior Vice President, Group Manager where he managed the 40-member post-acquisition global treasury management team. In 2010, Victor was named a Director/Board Member of PNC Bank International. When he first joined, Victor oversaw operations of his nascent business unit by providing expert insight into the direction of PNC treasury sales and developing positive relationships with U.S. and foreign financial services corporations.
Victor Notaro later spearheaded the integration of the National City Global Treasury Team, unifying operations efficiently and ensuring a smooth transition. Victor rolled out best-in-class customer relationship metrics, oversaw training and compliance matters, and ultimately earned PNC’s Chairman’s Circle Award – the highest distinction for sales and revenue growth.
